Mind Your Manners When Using Your Cellular Phone
Beneath the coupled gold faints the painless catalog.
Cellular phone use has dramatically increased over the years. It could be because of certain advantages that people have come to realize, like being able to call anyone, anywhere you are. Cellular phones are now more affordable because of its mass production. There are models and brands of different varieties and they can suit any budget.
But if we try to observe our surroundings it seems that the people all around us are not practicing proper etiquette when it comes to using their mobile devices. Right now, the manners are unacceptable. There are mobile phones ringing everywhere and disturbing other people. In public performances, weddings, meetings, interviews, and even places of worship you’ll hear phones ringing. You’ll notice people becoming more and more impolite when they use their mobile phones. What’s worse is that some talk in very loud voices enabling other people to overhear their private conversation.
People should learn manners when they use their mobile devices. Put your cellular phone in silent mode or turn it off when you’re at a meeting, class, or dinner so others won’t be disrupted. Most mobile devices are equipped with caller id and missed calls are registered. There’s no need to worry about not being able to return a call. If it is very important that you take the call, excuse yourself and proceed to a private or isolated location to take it.
Never make calls when inside museums, theaters, libraries, places of worship and when attending performances like stage plays, symphony concerts, etc. Avoid annoying people by not using irritating and loud ring tones. Keep your voice low when you make calls and keep your conversation private. It’s unlikely other people care about your affairs. At work, be sure you’re aware of the company’s regulations about the use of cellular phones. When you’re not allowed, don’t use your cellular phone so you won’t get into trouble.
Increasing the practice of proper etiquette and good manners is important when you use cell phones.
