How to Make Colorful Halloween Costumes

Red, orange and black have somehow become the colors associated with Halloween. Even kids are used to wearing costumes made up of these colors. But if you want your child to look different and more colorful this Halloween, it’s better if you add a splash of color to the costume.

Because dressing up is popular for all ages, the Halloween costumes that you see everywhere are varied. But the design for common Halloween costumes can be changed so that it is more colorful. This is why your costume’s color can also be accessorized by color. Which Halloween costumes can you add color to without straying from the Halloween theme? Here are a few suggestions… Most parents who are at a loss when it comes to conscious almost always default to the ghost costume. Simply a white bed sheet with a cut out eye and arm holes will do. Plain white is fairly common so you need to use imagination for something that really stands out. Why not add a crown of roses or carnations to your plain white sheet? This could symbolize that the ghost is a girl.

If you’re all for ugly heads and masks, you can wear these with a Hawaiian polo shirt for a dash of color. It would look like an orc who went to the tropics. The Orcs are a brave and scary bunch, but this does not mean they cannot wear pink.

The witch costume has been black for ages, which make it seem like witches have no fashion style at all. For an old witch costume, you can attach colorful patches on the witch’s robes. You can also add color to her broom by dyeing it with something bright like hot pink.

A zombie can ditch the dirt spattered clothes and go for more colorful one. Even the Grim Reaper can dress in red this time rather than the old black drapery. Count Dracula costume is one of the most fashionable you can find, but it too is available only in mostly black. The truth is, count Dracula can dress in any way he wants as long as the fangs and the blood stains are there.

Halloween is coming! Get ready with some colorful halloween costumes and and get some black halloween costumes too!
