2010 Belmont Gambling Field is Established!

The 2010 Belmont Stakes betting field has at last been established, putting to bed the mystery, the suspense, and the tense anticipation.

The 142nd edition of the Belmont odds tournament will get going on Saturday June 5th, 2010, and now horseracing odds followers know not only what horses will be featured in the Belmont gambling action but they are also know which lanes the mounts will be running out of. So here is the 2010 Belmont Stakes probabilities post positions devoid of further ado:

Running from Lane 1 and attemptingto avoid receiving pinched on the inside rail longshot Dave in Dixie will attempt to make history, and a pile of cash for lucky sports gambling followers, by claiming the last of the 2010 Triple Crown wagering events.

In Lane 2 Spangled Banner, another longshot in the horse racing probabilities, will make a run at the Belmont Stakes gambling championship. On his outside shoulder Uptowncharlybrown, a mount with a shot at winning this contest will run from Lane 3.

Make Music for Me, another mount with long sports wagering probabilities, has a good post, running from Lane 4 and right next to the big hitters in this year’s Belmont odds match.

Lanes 5, 6, and 7 will populated by Fly Down, Ice Box, and Drosselmyer, respectively, and these are certainly the money lanes of the 2010 Belmont Stake betting competition. Ice Box and Fly Down are the 2 favorites for this competition and Drosselmyer is significantly behind in the horse racing odds event.

Game on Dude and Stately Victor are both horses to keep your eye on. They’re coming from lanes 8 and nine, which are quite good post assignments and might also produce a victorious horse as their occupants.

Stay Put will run from Lane 10 and right alongside First Dude in Lane 11, one of the faves to secure the Belmont odds competition, but this outside post assignment will no doubt diminish his horse racing probabilities.

Interactif, a substantial time long shot, will have his probabilities widened ever farther starting in the far post (Lane 12). With any luck at 1 ½ miles this element should be mitigated to some degree and if the mount is a contender he’ll find a way to the finish line. Todd Pletcher, Interactif’s trainer, is certainly a force to be reckoned with when it comes to training mounts.

Super Saver, who earned the Kentucky Derby this season, is also trained by Todd Pletcher. In December 1995, Pletcher became a trainer and landed his 1st win with Majestic Number in February of 1996 at Gulfstream Park in Florida. He set a record in 2005 when his stable won almost $21 million in winnings from 10 Grade 1 contests in one season. He beat his own record the following year when his stable attained more than $27 million in purses. He claimed his 93rd win of the season in October of 1996, breaking yet another record for the most Stakes win in a year. Another horse he trained, Rags to Riches, became the first filly since 1905 to get Belmont in 2007.
